Leading North West accountants and business advisors Cowgills has advised Fast Frame on its sale to Inwido, Europe’s leading window group.
Founded in 2002 by Mark Coppin, Fast Frame is a specialist manufacturer of PVCu windows, doors and patio doors for the trade and commercial markets. The company has been acquired by Inwido as part of a bolt-on acquisition to Dekko Window Systems, enhancing Inwido’s UK footprint and expanding its reach within the commercial construction sector.
The deal creates opportunities for both sales and cost synergies, while strengthening Inwido’s product offering across a broader, more comprehensive range.
Cowgills Deal Advisory partner, Ben Barlow, said: “We’re delighted to have advised Mark and the team at Fast Frame on this landmark transaction. The deal represents an excellent strategic fit with Inwido’s existing operations and will provide a strong platform for future growth. It’s been a pleasure supporting Mark through this process and helping him achieve a successful outcome that recognises the fantastic business he has built.”
Mark Coppin, Managing Director of Fast Frame, commented: “This transaction marks an exciting new chapter for Fast Frame. Joining the Inwido group will enable us to accelerate our growth and build on the strong foundations we’ve established over the past two decades. The strategic and cultural fit with Inwido and Dekko is excellent, and I’m confident this partnership will unlock significant opportunities for our people, customers and suppliers.”
Björn Gelberg, VP M&A at Inwido, added: “Fast Frame has built a strong reputation for quality, service and innovation in the UK market. The acquisition is a great strategic fit for Inwido and further strengthens our position in the UK, one of our priority markets. We look forward to working with Mark and the team to continue developing the business and realising the growth potential ahead.”
This is Cowgills second deal with Inwido AB, having supported the selling shareholders on the sale of Dekko Window Systems Ltd to Inwido AB in 2022.
Under the terms of the agreement, Inwido has acquired 85% of Fast Frame’s shares upfront, with an option to purchase the remaining 15% in early 2028.
